Using Daja Dup Backup Tool
The unit is connected and powered up but the system has not been able to fine it.
Tried and still searching the net for a driver but only seem to find windows ones.

This unit consist of two parallel ports one for the printer to be
attached to.

According to:
http://www.linux.org/docs/ldp/howto/Hardware-HOWTO/parallel.html

It is supported in Linux

Thank you for the reply.
from reading the ling it looks good, so i do not need any drivers her.

However i have connect the taper drive up with out a printer connected to it for simplicity, but it is not recognized by Ubuntu system and i cannot gain access to it, or do i need to do any thing specific to access the drive or even see the drive at all.

I would be grateful for any help her step by step to get this up and running if not ill have to send it to the dump.

In the meantime i am just going to double check again to ensure it is all set up correctly.
Thanks.
