Comcast Xfinity does not work with Ubuntu

I can not view on-line media from Comcast Xfinity using Firefox on my Ubuntu system. I receive a error stating that the operating system is not supported at this time.

Is there a workaround or future plans to resolve this problem?

If not, can you recommend any tactics to put pressure on Comcast so that they will provide support to Ubuntu users?

this is something you will have to bring up with comcast.
