Approved PCMCIA Wireless card for Ubuntu

Asked by steveb001

Hi
can anyone tell me if there is a list of Ubuntu approved PCMCIA Wireless Network cards which use WPA (psk) out of the box? I have a D-Link DWL G650+ card at the moment which doesn't seem to work with wpa so i need an alternative.

Many thanks.

That's the best i can give you:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/WirelessCardsSupported
(You can find some there saying WPA works flawlessly.)

When you find something for yourself, you may wish to search answers and forums to see if others are having problems with it.

By the way, you probably know, but wpa-psk is susceptible to brute force passphrase recovery. Make sure your password is really strong :)

Can you help with this problem?
