xubuntu on 160 mb Ram Laptop

I have a desktop pc install cd for xubuntu for my laptop toshiba laptop but it seems to get stuck.

Is 160 mb Ram not enough?

try the alternate install cd. i think (but might be wrong) 200MB is minimum requirement for normal install CDs.

I've trying lately to install xubuntu on 256mb, and it's proved to be hard. Definitely use alternate cd and don't try unmounting swap :)

Note: installation needs more ram then working system.
