Is this the way to add ntfs-3g in Fiesty Fawn?

Steps to add ntsf-3g to Ubuntu Fiesty Fawn 7.04
· Add the Universe and Multiverse Repositories by going to “System>Administration > Software Sources”
· Enter your Password
· Checkmark all choices
· Uncheck Installable from CD-ROM
· Click Close
· Click Reload
· Goto “System > Administration>Synaptic Package Manager”
· Close Quick Intro
· Enlarge page
· Scroll Down
· grey ntsf-3g
· click “mark for installation”
· grey ntsf config
· click “mark for installation”
· grey ntsfdoc
· click “mark for installation”
· grey ntsfprog
· click “mark for installation”
· click apply
· window apply the following changes click apply
· window changes applied click close
· here is where I scroll down and find Evolution and delete them all
· click mark for removal and mark
· click apply twice then close
· Goto “Applications>System Tools>NTFS Configuration Tool”
· ntsf config opens
· click Add to /dev/sdc1
· click on “click here to set a mount point
· Type “Drive G”
· click Add to /dev/sdb1
· click on “click here to set a mount point
· Type “Drive D”
· click Add to /dev/sda1
· Type “Drive C”
· click apply
· click enable write support for internal
· click enable write support for external
· click OK

You don't need ntfsdoc, but can install that if you want.

All ntfs-3g stuff are in Universe I beleive, so then you don't need to enable Multiverse.

You can search for "ntfs" and mark these: libntfs-3g0, ntfs-3g, ntfs-config, and everything extra the system suggests based on these three. You may also install ntfsprogs if you want.

Why do you remove Evolution?

The rest looks Ok (from what I can remember just now).

Note: If anyone else uses James' list as a recipe for installing ntfs-3g, they should know that the last bit in NTFS Configuration Tool varies and depends on your disk(s) and Windows partition(s).
