how do I uninstall ubuntu

There is no need to uninstall it. You may just install the operating system of your choice, and ubuntu will be overwritten. For example, if you install windows, you will get rid of ubuntu in the process.

Yes, it's easy enough to get rid of. But why not keep it along with what ever else you want. There is nothing that says you must only use one OS. Granted if space is tight then that's a concern. However, I find that having more than one OS is useful. If one has a problem you have the other to use until it's fixed.
