After sudo apt-get update "could not resolve 'dists'"

After sudo apt-get update I get the errors "could not resolve 'dists'"

apt-get is complaining about the repository path http://dists/fiesty-commercial/* which does not have a domain (.com, .net, .org) Please verify the path in your repository and try again. Good Luck! Dave

I must confess I really do not know what domains thay should be.
I believe that Release.gpg comes from ubuntu studio but i'm not sure.
I also am unsure how to determine the correct these addresses because
   they dont appear in my sources.lst file,

After a consult with some other Ubuntu'ers, we'd like to to comment out this line in your sources.list
deb http://%%LOCAL%%archive.canonical.com/ubuntu feisty-commercial main
because 1) you appear to have the correct line in the file (deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu feisty-commercial main) and 2) we're not sure what is getting substituted for %%LOCAL%%/. Please try that and let us know what happens.
