How to get crossfire fps on ubuntu

Asked by Switching Maybe

No, not the crossfire drivers, the first person shooter. I've found a webpage which showed me how, but I'm a little confused of why I would need to have Unreal Tournament 2004 for it to work, isn't that a game as well?

Can someone provide instructions to me so I can know how to get it on my computer. I know my computer mets all the specs and requirements btw.

I'm running Ubuntu 10.10 and I already tried it with wine and it didn't work.

Here's the page I was talking about.

Yes Unreal Tournament is a game. Seems crossfire is a mod for Unreal Tournament so you will need Unreal Tournament first to then use the mod. Mods change how games act and behave and is also how Counterstrike started off, as a mod for Half-life so in order to play Counterstrike you needed to buy Half-life then download the mod to then use the mod with halflife

When you said croosfire, I though you meant this which is FREE:

But then I saw your link.
