Failed to start the X Server It is likely that it was not set up correctly

Asked by Gerardo Buenrostro

Here is some other stuff that I read when looking at the details of it(I'm not sure what is relevant or not since I am a complete newbie at linux!)
VESA: No matching mode
Screens found but none have a usable configuration
Fatal Server Error: No screens found

I´m trying to use the Ubuntu 7.4 live CD I have a DELL Inspiron with an ATI x1400 @ 1440 x 900(native) core duo @ 1.73GHz 2GB Ram, i cant afford to install ubuntu in my lap because im a noob in unix (SORRY T_T) and still a Windows slave.
Please Help!

Type the following command, and choose the relevant display driver and resolution in the screens that come up:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg -phigh
