I'm missing the file: /lib/modules/2.6.35-22-generic/modules.dep

by starting ubuntu 10.10 system is searching for the file /lib/modules/2.6.35-22-generic/modules.dep , after a while system continues without any problems

Reboot and hold shift at boot
Select recovery mode
Select root
at the prompt run:

depmod -a; shutdown -r now

Should be fine
