Modem Driver For Ubuntu 7.04

I've a VAIO notbook & my dialup modem is CXT AC-Link Modem for Intel & I use Ubuntu 7.04. Unfortunately Ubuntu does NOT support dialup modems, so I need a driver to install in order to connect to the internet. I've tried linmodems tool but it didn't help me, so PLS help me find a compatible driver in details because I'm a new Ubuntu user.

hey check out the dell website i got a driver from there for winmodems, maybe it'll work with yours, google it " dell ubuntu modem", i think it should work for you.
