Appointments dont come over when I hot sync

When I hot sync my Palm Pilot (Tungsten E2) my appointments came across the first time but when I hot synced a second time the appointments were erased in the evolution calendar (but not on my Palm pilot). I have changed the "one time event" to synchronize in the conduit settings but that does not solve the problem.
Has anyone else had this problem?
