Unexpected error

2 mysterious errors this far:

1) Azureus shuts down immediately when I try to download torrents.
But it functioned last night, and downloaded 3 movies already. But start now only open main window for 1 sec, and then its closed.

2) Gnome Art-manager shuts down when I try to preview or download.

It seems this two error might be connected?

Can you try to launch it from command line typing in a Applications->Accessories->Terminal:
azureus
Can you see some message or other warning...?
