Dell Mini Broadcom Firmware Missing
I installed Unbuntu 10.10 on a Dell 9 Mini with a Broadcom wan
I can't connect wirelessly. It shows ,Device not ready (firmware missing). I've tried several steps according to other posts.
I keep getting errors every time I try any of these. I have the firmware disc but I am unable to figure out where to put the driver when it tries to run. The ndisgtk command gives an error as well. I've tried running it from the file and command.
I was give a chance to update but it fails everytime. At first the password entered wouldn't work. Not it works but the uopdates still errors.
