I attempted to download Ubuntu from www.wubi-installer.com to my XP computer.

to my XP computer.Now i only have a blank screen and a blinking cursor in the top left corner.Reboot does not work. No programs run. CD,DVD will not play. My computer is a paper weight. How do fix this problem?

You previous download may be bogusware or something happened with the download so it was incomplete. I suggest you try to reinstall Ubuntu from a disk image downloaded directly from the horse's mouth, and burned to a new CD: http://www.ubuntu.com/products/whatisubuntu/desktopedition
