ubuntu-10.10 problem...hdd crash

Hi all,

i installed ubuntu 10.10 in my hp-laptop having samsung hard disk of 250gb.
installation got finished without any error......after installation it becomes very slow
i did restart but it is not shuting down....so i did hard boot 4-5 times...
and after boot i did fsck also to repair bad sector....but after this during next boot i got
SMART status failure id=1...

plz help

1.Boot your computer from LiveCD, and run application (CTRL+F2):
palimpsest

2. Choose your disk from list, click "SMART Data", please upload screenshot with opened SMART attributes (example window:
http://tinyurl.com/28dcvkn ). Please maximise that window, so we can see more information.

3. After that click "Run self-test", and choose extended test. It can take 2 hours.

Wheres screenshot? Upload it as i said. Did you run extended test?
