internet explorer 6 required for visual web developer

IE 6 is a pre-requisite for one of the windows application ,ie visual web developer ,
i am trying to use wine to start the setup of the above mentioned application but the problem is IE6 is required for it,so is there any chance of this application to run on ubuntu otherwise i will have to install win XP only for it.
is there any other application available similar to this application which is an open source and working perfectly on ubuntu 7.04- the Feisty Fawn.

There is a package call ie4linux, at
http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/page/Main_Page

Follow the instructions there to install.
You will need to get "wine" and "cabextract" installed through Add/Remove programs so that IE4Linux can be installed.
