After new 7.04 install, GRUB and a blinking cursor... that's all!

I just finished the install of Ubuntu 7.04 to the hard disk after it ran great via CD. When I rebooted on just the hard disk, it ended up at a blank black screen that just says GRUB with a blinking cursor after it and it does not respond to anything after that.

Any ideas? :)

This is a PC that will be running Ubuntu only. No dual booting.

Could you tell us exactly what it displays?

Seems that it cannot load Grub, maybe you will have to use the CD to reinstall it.

                    i figured it out... it didnt like the raid array :)
