Disable bulletproof X

How to disable bulletproof X in 10.10? That is, there is no /etc/gdm/gdm.conf now and old solution does not apply.

 i looked for bulletproof X in the snaptic package manager and it is not listed in there . could it have a different name? i am using ubuntu 10.10 . what are you using ?
