The upgrade was done around Oct 14 - i am no sure of exact date. the main problem I am having is that getting no sound which I had when first updated to Maverick. I all fell apart after I use the Computer Janitor program.
My sound card is on the Mother Board which is ECS P4M900T - M2.

I can not create new user account the gnu program hangs. The last time I was on Marerick I could not shut down - it kept asking me to sign in. It is also, I think, causing errors when boot into windows XP, so I am going delete Ubuntu and try later to install
