ive forgotten my admin password how can i get into system

i have forgotten my admin password is there any way i can change to a new one or is there a way of getting into it some other way

Boot to root recovery mode. Youo can then run:

passwd foo

Replace foo with your username. You can now set your password.

E.g.

passwd andy

Reboot and log in with the new password.
