Asked by Martin Olsson

I made a flash drive as described at your website. When i try booting from the USB-drive I get a error. "No init found. Try passing init= bootarg." How can i fix this? I downloaded the Ubuntu 10.10 notebook version.

Please verify the md5sum of your USB or CD image
   https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM
There are also issues with UNetBootin: see in https://answers.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unetbootin if you can find an answer. You should find a link to a new version.

by notebook, i'm assuming you mean laptop and not a netbook.

you can download pendrivelinux. it has always worked for me. unetbootin never worked for me.

just google or bing or yahoo pendrivelinux
