I just want to save 1.7 GB of files

Asked by Pepe

I realize that Ubuntu One is very extensive. It took me an hour to find out that I can get it free. Now, I know there are at least a thousand things you can do with it. But all I want to do is save 1.7 GB of files and use them when I need them. I tried USB drives and they are not very reliable. I just want to save the files like I would save them anywhere and use them when I need them. Just one computer no networks, no cell phones, no airplanes or whatevah. Is it possible? Thanks

I have received other items and advice. I just want to to save 1.7 GB of data. Rockets to the moon do not interest me. Or what you had for breakfast. I just want to know how to save 1.7 GB of data onto Ubuntu One and I have not received any answer on this. Yes, I know, I must be patient.

Well, judging from the write up on the ubuntu one cloud, that is what it was intended for. But you only have 2 gigabytes of space available. However, I'd be concerned about security issues and not put confidential information there. People have broken into supposedly very secure systems of big corporations.

Can you help with this problem?
