upgrading to ubuntu 10.10 with alternate cd

hai guys,
I have downloded ubuntu-10.10-rc-alternate-i386.iso ; and burnt this on a cd. can u pls tell me how to upgrade from 10.04 to ubuntu10.10 with this CD.
