Downloading Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat

Are you effing kidding me? 12 hours to download 1010? Im using cable modem. is the program so flipping large? Or, is there some secret technology I don't know about?

To have a good error check, please use a torrent to download the iso image...

I guess you are download from an overloaded server :) Usually you can have this kind of download rate on the release day, I'm quite surprised that it's so slow 10 days before...

But the bittorrent download is always the best solution if you want to download the CD. You should try it.
