if you prefer to use your old bit torrent you can use "wine" to run utorrent or other .exe files
or you can use Transmission which is the default bit torrent client in ubuntu you can find it under: Applications --> Internet --> Transmission
or you can download other like: Vuze, KTorrent and others torrent clients

I use Utorrent under Wine, and it works perfectly, except that Wine doesn't open default program for a type of file.
Else I tried Ktorrent, Transmission and Deluge.
I had lot of issues with Deluge.
Transmission works well, but has few functionality.
Finally, I use Ktorrent, which is close from Utorrent.

Can you help with this problem?
