nokia booklet

can someone help me set up my nokia booklet i have put ubuntu io.4 netbook remix on it in a partition the rest is jolicloud , i have added the gma500 repository however i dont know how to go about the mplayer-vaapi also if i could get it all sorted would like to know how to remove the jolicloud altogether and also how do i change the language to gaelic and can i change between gaelic and english easily ? im really a first timer at this and am kinda lost and would just like to try to get it working correctly so if anyone out there can help me i would very much appreciate it , my names eoin thanking u in advance , oh by the way is there anything i can do to get the native screen resolution working , and wen i tried to open a youtube video full screen at 360 pixels it went white but in the smaller player it worked

Why do you mention Jolicloud?

Can you give the output of:

sudo lshw -C display lsb_release -a; uname -a

format can be
 -html output hardware tree as HTML
 -xml output hardware tree as XML
 -short output hardware paths
 -businfo output bus information

options can be
 -class CLASS only show a certain class of hardware
 -C CLASS same as '-class CLASS'
 -c CLASS same as '-class CLASS'
 -disable TEST disable a test (like pci, isapnp, cpuid, etc. )
 -enable TEST enable a test (like pci, isapnp, cpuid, etc. )
 -quiet don't display status
 -sanitize sanitize output (remove sensitive information like serial numbers, etc.)
 -numeric output numeric IDs (for PCI, USB, etc.)

This is the result of ur question , hope it makes sense to u lol , im afraid im lost as i said earlier i really have no experience at this but would love to get ubuntu working correctly so i really appreciate any help u could give me . I just mentioned jolicloud because i thought it might be relevant , so in conclusion the playback doesnt work the mic isnt picking up sound and when i reopen the laptop after it being suspended it doesnt come back to life , once again thanks for taking the time to help me i really appreciate ur kindness

do u think i just just reinstall and start again with just ubuntu on there , how would i do that and if i did start from scratch do u think u could help me to sort out the problems ?
