i have 10.10 installed and in the software sources
i have 10.10 installed and in the software sources there is a listing of independent and independent source . if you check them then reload you get an error message about keys not found . so are these need or can they be safely removed ?
one other thing they are for third party software support .

Please add the needed gpg keys, please open a terminal and please type:
sudo apt-get update
give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.

i did it twice because it said sorry try agian the first time but it also run without my password . i have ppa for firefox 4.0 . that was just add today .

You have any issue with your sources.list package, so please simply update your system, from terminal type:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

ok !did those . but independent and independent source still give the error about pgp keys not being any good .
so i removed them from the software source list , re-did the upgrade/update . system seams fine . only problem i have found is can not sign code of conduct with 10.10 . it said oops an error has happened it will be reported and try to fix it . so as far as i am concerned the problem is resolved .
