gutsy desktop: how to set up RAID and/or LVM? > Answered

I am installing from Gutsy Tribe 5 desktop CD.
I see no way, using either gparted or ubiquity, to set up RAID or LVM partitions?
I can set up RAID/LVM from the Alternate CD.
Question is: How do I set up RAID and/or LVM from the Gutsy Tribe 5 desktop CD. Or is it not possible?

LVM and/or RAID direct installation is only supported by the Alternate CD.
You can still do it from the Desktop CD but requires manual intervention (see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/FakeRaidHowto)
