where is Ubuntu on my computer

Asked by GRACE ORIBHABOR

I downloaded the software onto my computer. I watched the bar move across the window. I input my CDR and waited for it to complete the download. The little window then disappeared. I went into my "downloads" files and IT IS NOT THERE. If someone can tell me the name of the file I downloaded. I used Internet Explorer. I have win7.

ubuntu-10.04.1-alternate-amd64.iso
ubuntu-10.04.1-alternate-i386.iso
ubuntu-10.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso
ubuntu-10.04.1-desktop-i386.iso
ubuntu-10.04.1-server-amd64.iso
ubuntu-10.04.1-server-i386.iso
ubuntu-10.04-alternate-amd64.iso
ubuntu-10.04-alternate-i386.iso
ubuntu-10.04-desktop-amd64.iso
ubuntu-10.04-desktop-i386.iso
ubuntu-10.04-netbook-armel+dove.img
ubuntu-10.04-netbook-armel+imx51.img
ubuntu-10.04-netbook-i386.iso
ubuntu-10.04-server-amd64.iso
ubuntu-10.04-server-i386.iso

Could be any one of those. or if you downloaded kubuntu:

kubuntu-10.04.1-alternate-amd64.iso
kubuntu-10.04.1-alternate-i386.iso
kubuntu-10.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso
kubuntu-10.04.1-desktop-i386.iso
kubuntu-10.04.1-netbook-i386.iso
kubuntu-10.04-alternate-amd64.iso
kubuntu-10.04-alternate-i386.iso
kubuntu-10.04-desktop-amd64.iso
kubuntu-10.04-desktop-i386.iso
kubuntu-10.04-netbook-i386.iso

Or XUbuntu:

xubuntu-10.04-alternate-amd64.iso
xubuntu-10.04-alternate-i386.iso
xubuntu-10.04-desktop-amd64.iso
xubuntu-10.04-desktop-i386.iso

So it could be anything from the above. If you use the right click and "Save As" you can actually TELL the OS where to download to so you know where it is exactly as YOU set it rather than using defaults. Makes sense doesn't it...

Can you help with this problem?
