cannot start ubuntu 10.04 lucid

I have installed ubuntu 10.04 lucid lynx in my dell inspiron n4010 corei3 laptop but now on booting, its responding 'starting virtual box kernel module' and cannot boot further.......kindly tell me the solution as soon as possible
