UBUNTU installing problems

Asked by Sibirian

Hello,

I would like install the newest Ubuntu version 7.04 on my computer.
The problem is, if start the installing routine then I get the error message "bin/sh can't access tty - job control turned off"
and the routine ends.

So, I am newbie in the LINUX OS, maybe anyone can help me in that cause.

Thx a lot!

Regards,

Sibirian

When you see the menu with "Start or install ubuntu" and other items, press F6 and add those parameters:
acpi=force e irqpoll
than continue the installation.
