Question about pen-drive ubuntu installation

I have installed many additional softwares and many missing plugins and updates since I have installed ubuntu 10.04 in my pc. Can I embed these new/additional installations to the pen-drive, so that when I reinstall ubuntu from my pen-drive, these additional softwares also get installed and I don't need to manually install them again.

If you install to the pen drive rather than transferring the ISO to the stick then the changes will be persistant.
