How do work with Ubuntu on 2 screens?

I have a Sony VAIO Laptop (VPCF115FM) 17". 2nd Screen connected via HDMI. Installed latest drivers from NVIDIA. Ubuntu looks awesome on the 2nd screen via HDMI. Cannot get Ubuntu to show up on Sony Vaio screen (Black).
Only way I can get content to show up on Vaio screen is to uninstall NVIDIA driver, but the screen does not scale properly to the Vaio screen.

Would love to run a dual screen setup. Please help!
