ubuntu 10.10 strange listen

 ubuntu 10.10 64 bit system - preference there is a listen of `input method switcher ` in the main menu program there is no listing of it .

to check if it is installed or not run this in the terminal "im-switch"
if it didn't open you can install it by running "sudo apt-get install im-switch" or by searching the synpatic package manager for "im-switch"

 the problem is it is not listed in the program main menu . but it is listed in the desktop system menu.
this is weird i restarted the pc and it`s gone . `input method switcher `
 that `s beta for ya !!

 i believe it was something to with beta . ??
