8.04: convert PDF to Word

I'm looking for a tool to convert a PDF file to a Word document.

That will depend on the degree of accuracy you want. There are numerous online services available for free that will do the job. However, they all have differing degrees of accuracy. Also, there's the issue of security and confidentiality. One very good package I have is PDF Converter Pro, but it works only in Windoze (so I keep Windoze around just for that purpose and for faxing and OCR).

You can easily find the online services by searching for "online pdf converter".

I haven't found any software that works on Linux.
