resize the size of the screen resolution dynamically

Hi,

At my work I saw a demonstration of Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop and the man show me that it was possible now on it to resize dynamically the screen resolution of suse without having to restart X-Server. IS it be possible to implement this kind of feature in Ubuntu ??

this is possible yes, its how ubuntu works normally.
