Configure serial mouse in kubuntu 10.04 LTS

I installed the kubuntu 10.04 LTS . i can use only ps mouse but serial mouse is not at all detecting, how can i use serial mouse in this version of kubuntu? there's no file such as xorg.conf in /etc/x11, can u sugest me a method to configure serial mouse .
