missing modules[cat/proc/modules;ls/dev

Hi ,when i booted my computer i received an error message .waiting for root device.common promblems.
boot args [cat/proc/cmdline] check rootdelay= [did the system wait long enough?]
check root=[did the system wait for the right device? missing modules[cat/proc/modules;ls/dev
crt! den/disk/by-uuid/8a6dfafd-e0c8-4cfa-ba5b-83241320573b.i just installed ubuntu. i picked the format installation.

Did you MD5 test the ISO you downloaded?
Did you burn the CD as slowly as possible?
Did you test the CD for defects once first booted to?

did not test iso and cd took 15 min to burn ,did not check for defects

Boot to the CD. When you see the stickman and keyboard at the bottom, press spacebar then select the CD defect check.

thank for your help .I downloaded the software again this time it took a lot longer and i downloaded ISO i am getting another error uni-partman code 10,/var/log /syslog.im in the process of checking the cd .
