showing grub rescue with error: unknown file system on ubuntu lucid lynx with restarting

I have installed lucid lynx 10.04 on dell inspiron N series 4010 and responding error: unknown file system and grub rescue> on starting my laptop....on giving command ls
(hd0) (hd0,5) (hd0,1)
kindly tell me the solution of this problem as soon as possible to restart my laptop properly

Boot to liveCD (or liveUSB) and reinstall grub2
