Cannot find a music organizer that syncs with player

I have downloaded several applications including Banshee,Jajuk, and Rhythmbox. Banshee will freeze and not respond and Jajuk does nothing and nothing with Rhytmbox. I am using a Sansa player but have also tried a Sony mp3 player. What application should I be using?
