when i chose a option when i put in the cd it says loading linux kernel and its stuck at 3%

when i start anything it just says loading linux kernel and just hangs at 3% it on a laptop

everex nc1502

via 1.5Ghz

512MB ddr2 ram

80gig hd

anything more i need to add???

is there anything i can do to get past that

Try a text-mode install in the CD's bootup-menu

how do i do a text mode install ? or do i have to get the other cd?

Im so sorry it was a defect in the CD its working great now thanxs
