it's a radio automation system from http://www.rivendellaudio.org/ . I already installed it on ubuntu but for some reason it does not function. ok, just now i found this site, http://roborr.com/rivendelldev/msg02998.html , this person seems to be having the same problem that i'm having. I will try the suggested fix tonight. but anyway, thank you for replying so fast.

Since the application is no packaged for Ubuntu, I guess that their own web site is the best source for information and support. Good luck and if you manage to install and configure it, think about writing a How-To on the Ubuntu wiki https://help.ubuntu.com/community/.
