hide Windows directories from Ubuntu

Asked by Jerry Story

I want to hide sensitive Windows directories from Nautilus but I want to have access to some Windows directories. Can this be done?

(Putting the dot in front of a Windows directory name to be hidden from Nautilus would confuse Windows.)

Alternatively, is there a way to make another Windows partition without wrecking Windows?

Hello Jerry,

if you installs Samba it should be possible. You find these stuff here [1]. With Samba its possible to define an exact windows path which is usable by an linux user.
