spontaneous rebooting
Ubuntu will randomly just cut out from whatever I'm doing (it's never the same app or action) and show the following on a black screen:
Speech-dispatcher configured for user sessions
*Starting Common Unix Print
System: cupsd [OK]
PulseAudio configured for per-user sessions
*Enabling additional executable binary formats binfmt-support [OK]
Checking battery state... [OK]
Or at least thats what i believe it says but im not sure, i just got this from someone elses problem since it looks very similar to mine. If i notice it says otherwise, i will make an update... The above is displayed for two or three seconds, from there the computer tries to shut down / re-boot, but does not manage to do so, instead the computer monitor just keeps resetting (clicks on and off in a continuous cycle). If I then press the computer's power button, it will switch off from there.
This problem is getting quite frustrating and seems to do it much more after it happens once. Such as, i turn my computer on and it will run fine for 15 mins or so. Then it suddenly goes to the screen and usually gets stuck trying to reboot. I wil turn it off and back on and it starts up and does it again. I repeat and it will run fine for 10 mins and do this again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. It is a quite annoying problem. i have checked installed drives and only the things i need are plugged in.
