Sony Walkman not recognized by ubuntu

I have a Sony Walkman NWZ-B143F. Ubuntu recognized the device as a USB storage device the first few times, but nowadays, it completely ignores it. It doesn't recognize my device. any advice?

Well, i dont haven't use those devices, but i think you should update your system or better go to Aplications + Ubuntu Software Center and type "USB", and select the program you might think work.
