Printing with Xerox 6110 in Wine

I am running a Networked Xerox 6110 in Ubuntu 10.04 through CUPS. The print quality was very poor compared to printing in Window Vista. I followed the instruction at this site http://foo2qpdl.rkkda.com/ which improved the print quality somewhat but still not up to Windows standard.

I recently ran a Windows program through WINE 1.1.42-0ubuntu4 and printed out using this. The print quality was very good and appeared to be much better than in Ubuntu.

Any suggestions as to how I can get this quality?
