Ok your issue is you cannot stop the check but please tell have you performed the check to detect errors on your partiition ?
Please tell the hard disk partition check pass with no errors...?

seems triggered by my USB stick of 8GB as I had this plugged in all the time. Anyway c doesn't help and fsck takes very long
