lots of problems

I like my new Linux Ubuntu,not as appearance,setting and graphics but as an ideal as well.It's a pitty though,there's lots of problems.You cannot download loads of apps and pluggins,because the downloading faces problem,(something don't match etc.),and if you download it,can't opened.i'm not a computer geek,to debug,or fix or patch or whatever,but i really want stick to it.i don't want to use Microsoft.Is there a light in the near future?Excuse my English

i'm pretty sure your problem can be solved here... please split them into single one and explain here your issue...

Please tell...

The MOST IMPORTANT thing to check is the md5 of install iso image BEFORE install Ubuntu have you done this check...?

i am not sure what is the problem u r facing
but ubuntu suppose to be very easy
first u might had not update your repo
to do that
go to terminal ( applications, accesories, terminal)
typ sudo apt-get update
when ask for password,juz type in, it wont come out. then press enter

then try to install it again

i am not sure which apps or plugins u r having problem?
could u explain to me in detail

go to system>administration>software sources. a window will open there click on 'download from' drop down, select others and click find best mirror. it should change your download server to a faster and possibly better..

Ubuntu is different from windows so you wont find all the apps that are in windows but there certainly are alternatives.
