Stuck Loading Before Installation

downloaded and uploaded on a USB the desktop edition
started the computer, went to click on install to hard drive but before i could do anything, it immediately went to a dark screen with on the top left corner "Loading /casper/vmlinuz.."

Did you MD5 test the ISO you downloaded?

You havent checked the ISO. You have no way of knowing if the data you have used is complete or consistant. This is what MD5 is for:

thanks for the help. i did the md5 test and they were the same. tried it again and still stuck on "Loading /casper/vmlinuz.."

ok thats good, check your ram but pressing space on the stick man screen during the usb boot and select test ram

did that....now the screen is stuck on Loading /install/mt86plus..

is the memory stick healthy?

oh yeah....i used it before to back up the stuff from the computer to my main desktop

Not sure then. Try a different PC to test the stick, then we can try some boot options
